Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas + My Plans

Hi guys! I’m excited to share some Valentine’s Day gift ideas today. Valentine's Day gift ideas 2019 | These are great Valentine's Day gift ideas for her from $10 and up. Also, hello from the other side of whatever sickness I came down with on Sunday. I’m still not entirely sure what I had, besides a fever, aches, and a headache that just wouldn’t quit. Maybe a light case of the flu or a really, really bad cold/virus. Who knows.

Either way, I’m feeling much more like myself today and am hoping to get my life in order these next few days before a busy weekend with my best friend who is coming up from Kansas City to stay!

I love putting together round-ups of gift ideas and while this might seem a little premature, Valentine’s Day is less than a month away (!!) and this just makes me happy considering it’s been incredibly gloomy here in Chicago (I’ll take literally anything I can get at this point in the season).

I’ve never really been one to fight the restaurant crowds on Valentine’s Day and usually always opted for something lowkey at home in years past. But this year I’m going to see The Knocks with Melissa and am really, really excited! I’ve been dying to see them live ever since I was first introduced to their music after moving to Chicago and I can’t think of a better way to spend the holiday.

Whether you’re shopping for your significant other, best friend, mom, grandma, sister, co-worker, whoever it might be, there’s a little something for everyone here!

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

This gold bracelet ends up on so many of my gift guides, but it really is the best. I wear it every single day and always get asked about it! You can get it engraved, too, which makes for an extra special gift. I don’t consider myself to be a huge jewelry person, but I stopped in Nordstrom a while back to exchange something and tried on the diamond bracelet from Monica Vinader just for fun and ohmyword it’s so sparkly and I’ve never wanted anything more. This would obviously be for that very, very special someone (yourself included 😉 ).

A gal who reads here recently asked if the Eberjey pajamas were soft and I’m here to tell you, they are the softest. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find pajamas that compare. I love the light pink color and red trim of this pj set!

I absolutely love this cheeky Galentine’s Day card and the fact that it has a donut on it just makes it that much better.

Another tried-and-true favorite is this nice set of leather travel cases that will undoubtedly last for years. I use the smaller one for my everyday makeup and the larger one for when I’m packing up my suitcase and need to bring extra toiletries along. I think I’ve said this a million times before, but there is something about the way these open up that really lets you see everything you’re working with (so you aren’t left hunting around for the teeny tiny bit that’s left of your eyeliner stick).

When I think of Valentine’s Day gifts I always think pampering, so this chic robe (also comes in a really cute pajama romper), silk pillowcase (they make a silk sleep mask that looks divine), and face mask were all obvious picks. It’s always nice to get a something luxurious that you wouldn’t necessarily splurge on for yourself!

I haven’t tried anything from the Moon Juice line yet, but everyone raves about it so I’ll just leave this sex dust right here 😉 .

It’s probably no big secret that the way to my heart is through my stomach and this candied popcorn sounds so good. I’ll be honest, I came *this close* to ordering it for myself when I was working on this post.

If you’re heading to a Galentine’s Day get together, bring a bottle of Chambord for a little something different than your go-to red. Just mix 1/4 oz of Chambord with a glass of champagne and add a few raspberries to create their signature Royale cocktail.

You can’t go wrong with Sugar Lip Balm. I have it (and love it!) in “Punch,” but know others who swear by the “Petal” and Rose” colors. It’s the perfect hint of color while keeping your lips moisturized, which is super necessary this time of year (also comes in a gift set!).

A few items that didn’t make this round-up, but would make great Valentine’s Day gifts: a framed Instagram print (or any photo!) from Framebridge, this Staud handbag (a trendier style I’m actually leaning towards, which doesn’t happen too often!), my favorite place for a monogrammed phone case (I love their new logomania option with the red and pink colorway – too cute!), a set of gold eye masks, this topless mug, a pair of cute socks, and a productive as fuck notepad!

Ahh I got a shout out in the blog, day made! I want your bracelet soooo badly…I think I need to search for a good look for less though! I love that (it looks?) adjustable, as bracelets are usually too big for me. So happy you’re posting more regularly, love following along!

You sure did!! I totally understand it being an investment. I was lucky enough to have worked with them on an event and was gifted it, but I can honestly say I’d replace it in a heartbeat should it ever go missing (although I would cry). Yes, it’s somewhat adjustable. The clasp slides for a tighter fit! They do make a petite version too, which I sent to a friend who has the tiniest wrists! https://shopstyle.it/l/YknY

Thank you SO much for sticking with me. I feel like I’ve found a good groove again, so I’m hoping to keep it up. If there’s ever anything you’d like to see me post about, I’m all ears! Also, just remembered I saw you post in the the Stripe’s FB group about sheets. These are (again) a huge investment, but I have yet to find anything that compares: http://26andnotcounting.com/2019/01/favorite-products-of-2018.html
