Weekly Rounds Vo. 4

blah blah blah

Are you feelin’ blah, blah, blah…or oh so fancy? I’m hoping it’s the latter especially because it’s Friday! I’m thinking I need to pay another visit to Westside Storey and give one of these prints a place to call home.

Read on for a peek at some my favorite links around the web this week:

– Mary over at The Kitchen Paper whipped up some dark chocolate chunk brownies and they are pretty much all I can think about. I made a batch of cookies (you know, the ones that come in a bag) with chocolate chunks recently and I forgot how much those up the wow factor. I can only imagine how delicious a homemade treat with these added would taste.

– Oribe created not one, but TWO perfume scents. Which means I can go back to using my dry texturizing spray for it’s main mane purpose, my hairs. Opposed to spraying it all over everything I own.

– After seeing this darling lace ponte top on Lauren Conrad I decided to take a deeper look at her line at Kohl’s and I have to say, I’m impressed.

– Paige is wise beyond her years. Her post on learning to accept criticism is a good reminder that we all face rejection and it’s how we handle it that shapes  who we are and allows us to move forward.

– As if I wasn’t already aware of my mediocre dance moves, this 11 year old girl just solidified the fact that I’m lacking in that department. See for yourself in her most recent All About That Bass routine.

– We are already 9 days into #Fit30Days and I’m going strong with no pop/caffeine! I squeezed in six Bar Method classes, a long walk with Alex and logged a little over 18 miles total (a lot of this was walking). My runs have been lackluster and I honestly can’t figure out what my problem is. I’m crossing my fingers that I find my mojo before the polar vortex sets in and I’m sentenced to the treadmill. How have you been doing? This week on 26 and Not Counting I visited the Louisburg Cider Mill and finally said hello to October, be sure to catch up if you missed out!

Now go make the most of your weekend, I’ll see you all back here on Monday morning!

  1. I found a really cute dress from Lauren Conrad’s line at Kohl’s a few years ago. And it was very reasonably priced! Hope you have a GREAT weekend!

  7. I love your #fit30challenge; I think your approach to it makes it seem more long-term than other challenge programs. Over a month ago, I gave up coffee, and I felt better (still drink tea).
