Weekly Rounds Vol 92

Journaling prompt:

Write without abandon. That’s it. 🙂

Song of the week:

Gryffin released his album, Gravity, this week and you should really listen to the whole thing, but OMG (ft. Carly Rae Jepsen) is a good start. 😉 So so excited I’m going to be seeing him again in Florida next month! Turn it up and listen as you browse.

re:named is a new-to-me brand and I ordered this printed midi dress on a whim and I’m so glad I did. I love the slit that runs up the leg and the sleeves…just everything about it, really. If you follow me on Instagram/stories, you know some guy decided he should give me unsolicited style advice after I posted about it there lolol. No.

I’m in desperate need of some new tops to pair with jeans and pants and can see myself in the sleeves and slight crop of this one from Reformation! But then, I also want to live in oversized cozy sweaters à la Free People.

I recorded my first podcast with Ménage-A-Pod a few weekends ago and the episode is out in the wild now if you want to give it a listen!

Scorpio is the sign of transformation.

And with Scorpio season here, I loved reading about the new moon happening on the 27th and this little bit that said, “And although the road might not be easy, the place where we end up will resonate with us so long as we don’t resist change. It is coming.” If we focus on grounding, detaching, and tapping into the sign’s intuitive and penetrating perception, we will be able to tenaciously make better decisions for ourselves.

I’m going to make these pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting over the weekend for a birthday in the office on Monday! My friend Katie brought them to our Friendsgiving last year and I’ve been thinking about them ever since.

Also really want to try this vegan pesto recipe from my friend Lauren!

The summer of the seltzer might be over, but then Give Them Beer went and did this. How fun is this seltzer advent calendar?

Super intrigued by Miller Lite’s newest campaign and the dark cans they’re going to be debuting.

The hydration mask from Patchology quickly became my go-to and I’ve been using it weekly for the last few months now and think it’s the best and a great price point! I’m going to try the eye gels next and will report back on what I think.

I’m terrible at washing my makeup brushes (I know) so I ordered this fun brush cleaner and am adding this to my to do list for tonight.

Olivia’s work ethic is something that really motivates me and reading this made me genuinely excited for her!

I want to order another pair of training shoes from APL and while these are a little out there for me, I’m kinda into them and I know they’d hold up so much better in the salt and slush that comes with walking to the gym in the winter over my black pair.

I’ve been working my way through my fall bucket list and have been embracing all the fall things as much as I can.

My favorite wool skirt is back and on sale!

See it in action here. I only wish it came in black.

I wear the same gold bracelet and tortoise shell print cuff every single day and this one from Shashi is a mix of the two for under $50.

There are tons of great things marked down on Shopbop right now! I always search by my favorite designers first and then go from there. I love that they carry brands like Madewell because I can use my Amazon Prime shipping for it!

Alright, that’s all I’ve got for now. Have a great one, whatever you’re up to! I’m always sharing in real-time over on Instagram stories, so be sure to follow along there.
