Happy Labor Day, friends! I hope you’ve had the best long weekend. Admittedly, there hasn’t been an ounce of laboring going on over here, but that’s how it should be every once in a while, no?

I actually booked a last minute flight to Kansas City on Friday night, threw my things in a bag, and hopped on the train out to the airport. It’s been so nice to check out for a few days and catch up with friends!
I’m ready to get back to the city (and my own bed) tonight! September is going to be an exciting month, starting with an event I’m hosting at the Madewell on Rush on Thursday.
