With temperatures in the 90s here in Chicago (and my newest bucket list going up last week!) it seems as though Summertime Chi showed up a little early, so I’m going with it. To kick things off, I rounded up some of my favorite pieces to help you have the most fun in the sun, and look good while doing it!
In an effort to capture more candid life moments, I ordered this instax mini a few weeks back and I can’t wait to use it! I love that you only get one shot with these (lest you waste your entire roll of film on do-overs). Those photos are always the best, aren’t they?
If you find the off-the-shoulder trend difficult to wear (read: find yourself constantly adjusting) this yellow dress and this ruffle dress both give you a similar look without the fuss!
I’ve been wearing these espadrille sneakers non-stop. They’re super comfortable and look cute with dresses and cropped jeans alike. I’m also all about easy-to-wear slides during the summer months and these tan sandals and these black knotted sandals are both high up on my wish list!

Thanks Rachel! Yay! Pro tip on the floatie: spring for the air pump! I’ve blown it up twice now without one and let me tell ya, it wasn’t fun haha. We ended up passing it around at the lake last year because it was too much for one person.
