For the Love of Stripes

Helloooo, March! I’m fairly certain I blinked and February was over.
striped shirt and black skinny jeansMore often than not, the days feel long, but the months (and years!) always seem so short. Funny how time plays tricks on the mind, isn’t it?
the best striped tee for springI hope you don’t mind me keeping it short and sweet today. I spent the majority of yesterday trying to get my taxes in order and I kinda sorta feel like that upside down smiling faced emoji right now. Lack of sleep and one too many hours in front of the computer will do that to a girl!

I came across this quote recently and I’ve read it nearly everyday since. I hope you find a bit of adventure in your everyday, friends!

“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.” – Oriah Mountain Dreamer what to wear on the weekend j. crew coat classic converse tennis shoes heart wall

My love for a good stripe knows no end, but you know this. I justified this top on account of the slight boatneck and longer sleeve – both good reasons, no? 😉 Up until this year, I hadn’t tried Madewell’s denim and I’m kicking myself because it’s all so good. I’ve worn this pair (which I shared here) countless times and they still fit the same as the first time I slipped them on!

Have a happy Wednesday! I’m off to check a few more things off my winter bucket list – time is of the essence!

I am a sucker for stripes! I love that shirt and the general vibe you’re oozing! Yes, girl 🙂
Also that quote resonates very much with me, it is so so true! A job just pays the bills but doesn’t necessarily mean that this is what I was born to do….

    Also, that wall! Whoa!

So cute and I’m all about stripes too! Stripes have become a pretty big staple in my closet! Also, great quote about work! My work mantra is “we work to live, not live to work!”

Have a good day and see you Monday!
