Gift Guide: For The Hostess & Her Home

gift guide: for the hostess & her homeHappy Monday, friends! I hope you’re feeling rested and ready to take on a new week after some much needed relaxation. Pete and I laid low on Friday night and after my workout on Saturday morning we ventured over to Lincoln Park for a brunch and some window shopping. It was the quintessential fall day – sunny with a crisp in the air. That evening we watched a movie and then capped off the weekend by indulging in a super lazy (alarm-free) Sunday. It felt so good to slow down and take some time for ourselves.

Today I’ve got another gift guide, with this one focusing on gifts fit for those people in your life who love to entertain and/or spend quality time at home (yes and yes). I’m a firm believer that music makes everything better and can elevate just about any occasion. We’ve almost always got music playing through this speaker at home and I can’t say enough good things about it! This cheeky print is all about the champagne campaign and that is something I can get behind – especially as we move into the holiday season. I love the idea of framing a print before gifting it. This way, the one receiving the gift isn’t stuck with an unexpected purchase or worse, a print that sits unframed and is eventually forgotten. Framebridge is super easy to work with and won’t break the bank! If you’re heading to any holiday parties, these plaid wine bags are festive, and once you add a bottle of wine…they’re (even more) fun! Add a few wine glasses and you’ve got a great gift set. This mint julep cup might not look like much here, but add white roses and you’ve got a unique vase to adorn the coffee table, kitchen counter or even a desk area.

I also wanted to share this set of aprons my friend Megan designed. Are they not the prettiest aprons you’ve ever seen? The idea is that wearing one won’t take away from whatever the hostess with the mostest has on underneath!
