Hi guys! Are you all recovered from the long holiday weekend? I swear, the Fourth of July gets me every time and as a result, the jury is still out over here. Even though the holiday has come and gone, I’m still embracing red, white and my new favorite shade of blue with this easy, breezy dress and this pair of blue fringe sandals from Steven Madden. One could say I’m on the fringe in more ways than one as I approach my 29th (!!) birthday this coming weekend. I feel excited to celebrate another year full of life and can’t wait to dive headfirst into everything the last year of my twenties will inevitably bring!
Here’s to a year of trusting my gut, embracing change, trying new things, saying “yes” more, nurturing relationships and most of all, not wishing away the mediocre days for those which might seem more appealing on paper – often times the best memories spawn from spontaneity!
And who knows, I might just pay this look another visit come Saturday for some celebrations. Perhaps another rosé crawl is in order? Before I let you go, it shouldn’t go unmentioned that Steven Madden offers various coupon codes, including 15% off $75 with code SUMMER and another for free shipping! If you’re like me and always searching for the often elusive discount before you pull the trigger on a purchase, knowing they have an entire page dedicated to them is like striking gold.
And lastly, after posting these sandals on Instagram, I’ve gotten several questions on whether or not they stay laced up. I wore them for a night out in Miami and again here in Kansas City for dinner and drinks with friends and didn’t have any problems with them!
Happy shopping, friends!
