Hi guys, happy Monday! The birds are literally chirping outside my window right now and it’s putting me in such a cheery mood. How was your weekend?

I grabbed dinner with one of my best friends on Friday night and then turned in early after a long week. Saturday morning I took a spin class and then made the two hour drive to spend the afternoon with my sweet niece – I swear she changes by the day!

I was determined to get outside for a run yesterday morning and while it felt amazing to log a few miles in the sunny, 70 degree weather, I paid the ultimate price yesterday afternoon and evening when my allergies flared up. Between sneezing no less than a hundred times and wheezing for a good hour post-run it left me pretty exhausted (and resembling Rudolph, ugh). My pollen allergy is worse than ever so I’m going to have to figure out how to navigate it this spring because I refuse to stay inside! Any tips or tricks on combating spring allergies?

I’m all about cost per wear (which helps me to justify purchasing $200+ jean shorts – which are now marked down to $156 as part of the sale here) and a pair of distressed denim can be so versatile, especially in the spring and summer months.
