Gift Guide: For The Girl On The Go

I can’t complain about the weekend I had and it seems to be fueling me this Monday morning! Friday night I had dinner with one of my best friends, Meg, and it felt so good to catch up face-to-face. We followed it up with some retail therapy and a quick browse through Timehop – for old times’ sake (and a good laugh).

On Saturday morning I took a workout class hosted by Health House and Nike Women on a rooftop in downtown Kansas City. Definitely not something I pictured myself doing in mid-November, but I’ll take it. I had every intention of making it to spin class yesterday, however, my legs had very different plans for me so Pete and I opted for a walk around the neighborhood instead. It was a great way to end an otherwise low-key weekend!

gift guide for the girl on the go

We’ll get right down to today’s order of business: Those gals who always seem to be on the go. Whether they’re a frequent flier or a weekender – they bounce from city to city with no signs of slowing down.

The holidays bring a lot of travel for us as our families live out of town and as a result, I rounded up gift ideas that make my life easier when I travel. My Lo and Sons weekender bag is perfect for quick getaways (also carry-on approved) and doesn’t allow me to overpack like a full-blown suitcase would. I’ve mentioned a time or two that I’m a huge fan of the clarity pouch, which I fill with toiletries like my go-to facial cleanser and other necessities. Pete’s mom travels almost weekly for work and we gifted her one of these last year and she loves it!

The minimergency kit is filled with just about everything you would need if/when you find yourself in a pinch. These make the perfect Secret Santa gift or stocking stuffers!

For the airborne traveler: A chic passport case, luggage tag, sleep mask, cashmere wrap and let’s not forget, the cocktail kit!

Update: This clutch that charges your iPhone by Kate Spade and Everpurse hadn’t been released when I first published this round up, but I couldn’t think of a more appropriate gift! Shop all the phone charging bags here.

Tip: Nordstrom and Shopbop are by far two of my favorite retailers for several reasons. They both offer a wide variety of brands, shipping is free (and fast, I might add) and if whatever you purchased didn’t work out, returns are just as smooth – while also being free of charge. It’s a no-brainer, really. Be sure to check out both Shopbop’s gift guides and Nordstrom’s gift guides for a slew of additional gift ideas this holiday season!

I need to get one asap! When we were on our cruise, I misplaced our passports and finally found them the last day lol. I think with a cover that might be a little harder to do 😉
