Hellllooo, March! I’m really, really looking forward to the start of a fresh month. Not to mention the fact that spring is so close I can taste it, only 18 days – see for yourself! There is light at the end of the long winter tunnel (at least there better be, otherwise I may have a few choice words for the weatherman).
We spent the weekend celebrating a good friend’s birthday and subsequently tried to undo the damage that one too many adult beverages brings with a hearty meal at one of my favorite spots. After a thick layer of white snow settled on the ground, I figured the only logical thing to do would be to hole up and finally tend to the magazines I had been neglecting (still waiting for these books to come in at the library). Sometimes that’s the best way to reset over the weekend, don’t you think?
It was extremely fitting that Boat House Apparel sent over their Adventurer tee because whether I like it or not, I’m being pushed in the direction of my next big adventure. The last week and a half or so have been a mix of emotions. A sense of relief in some aspects, but also the uneasy feeling that comes with not knowing what’s next. Pair that with a little fear and you’ve just concocted the recipe for something I like to call Hot Mess Jess.
I’ll be doling out the nitty gritty that is my life (at the moment) tomorrow – a cliff hanger is so unlike me, I’m sorry! Today, I’m going to get back into the groove of half marathon training, stretch a little deeper at Bar Method and remember that I have the world’s greatest support system.
ARE YOU AS READY FOR SPRING AS I AM?! I CAN HEAR THE UNANIMOUS YES THROUGH MY COMPUTER SCREEN
