Remember when I said I wasn’t sure if I was getting sick or not? Ya, I totally jinxed myself and I’m still recovering. Thankfully, mine was just a low fever paired with some serious head congestion and it didn’t come anywhere close to the stomach bug my poor baby brother caught. I could hear his exhaustion on the phone yesterday when we talked and wished I was closer so I could give him a big squeeze!
So, I’ve basically just been surfing the web from the couch in between the doses of Nyquil and rounds of extra strength mucinex, which brings us to today’s post. Can you blame me? I’ve always been a big fan of Gap jeans – they’re actually all I own at the moment. I’m dying to try their new resolution jeans and I’m pondering whether or not I could pull off these destructed high rise jeans (there’s a first for everything). Pete knows how to take a hint and these silver brogues showed up on our doorstep last week and I was so excited. I can only think of a million ways I want to wear them! I finally opened up my bottle of OPI’s cajun shrimp (a gift from my sweet friend Whitney) and tried out my new essence gel top coat. I’d venture to guess that my at home nail jobs typically last about a day before chipping sets in, but I’m four days in and have only suffered two minor chips. Plus, my nails have never looked so shiny! There is so much goodness happening a J. Crew right now. Exhibit A, B and C. I also can’t get enough of all the ear jewels at Bauble Bar – everything from their ear jackets to crawlers.
