Best Flats for Fall

Best Flats For Fall
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of flats and loafers, but I tend to think that the window for wearing them is a tad bit on the small side. For starters, my feet are the first thing to feel like they are going to fall off when the temps drop and secondly, that slush that forms after a snow is no fun to waltz around in, especially if you aren’t wearing boots. So for the time being I’ll be wearing nothing but my favorite slip ons, second only to slippers (which we all know aren’t work appropriate).
These black loafers from H&M are under $15, but they appear to be sold out online in most sizes (check in your local store!) otherwise, here is a very similar pair at a decent price. I’ve slipped them on for work everyday this week and don’t see that stopping anytime soon. Shh.Other favorites include, plaid loafers, cheetah flats (I think these are similar to the ones Ashley is wearing, but I wasn’t able to track them down on the Off Broadway site) and these gorgeous dark garnet dorsay flats. As for these kitty flats that are so far out of my price range it’s not even funny? I say, meowwww.

Speaking of that slushy mess mentioned above, it did a number on my suede boots last year (note to self, don’t wear them unless it’s dry out). Do you have the trick to making suede look good as new? Teach me your ways!Do you rock flats and loafers, or are you more of a heel girl?

  5. I am definitely not a heel girl. I used to try to pretend I was, but have finally come to terms with the fact that I like a comfortable shoe. Love your choices! Especially those plaid ones!

  6. Kitty everything <3 Renner’s on the Plaza does a lot of great work making shoes look like new. They can be kinda pricey but usually it’s less than the price of new boots.

I love loafers! They are so cute. However, I consider myself an equal opportunity shoe lover and I love them all – flats, pumps, boots, sandals. 🙂 Those plaid loafers are too cute!

I’m loving those cheetah flats! I could totally rock those every day! We’re luck in NC because while it might be cold out, we don’t have snow and slush on the ground very often.
