This weekend was filled with time on the lake with Pete’s fam, catching up with friends and a side of retail therapy. And as usual, it went by was too fast. Will this ever stop happening? Time continues to fly on by so I thought I had better hurry up and show you my summer faves before it is too late!
Sara, of Project Soiree, recently featured me on her “What I’m Reading Now” column and one of the things on my wishlist is a new wallet. I think this style from Kate Spade would be the perfect match for me. Not too big and not too small – I just need to decided on a color. I saw a similar triangle necklace worn by Sally from A Piece of Toast last week and happened to come across this cheaper version. A little game of lust and must, if you will.
This candle = amazing! My friend Whitney gave me one for my birthday and it’s been turning our apartment into an island oasis ever since.
I was dead serious when I said I’m never taking these sparkle sandals off. I’m sure they’ll be making several more Instagram appearances before the summer fades away.

Such great picks!! I love tropical candles in the summer. They make me feel like I’m on the beach, too. I always want to keep them around during the winter, too, but Wade wants the house to smell like apple pie or pine trees:) Glad you had such a fun weekend at the lake!
