I have a terrible, terrible confession: I was once a tanoholic. Not only was I a habitual tanning bed user and a professional when it came to laying out by the pool, but I also spent long hours in the sun working as a beer cart girl. After suffering countless sunburns that left me looking like a lobster, I’m happy to say that I’ve finally got my head on straight when it comes to the importance of protecting my precious skin. I’m now a slave to the sunscreen bottle and almost always wear a hat when I know I’m going to be outside for long periods of time. A simple dress from Express, nude heels, my go-to Kate Spade crossbody bag and my new tights and I was set for a First Friday pop up event in downtown Kansas City. I’ll be at a reunion this July with my husbands family. There will be lots of outdoor time between cookouts and parades.

This is a great way to have tanner legs in an instant! I tried buying some of that self tanner stuff, but couldn’t get over the way it smelled so this is a smart option (as long as it isn’t too hot:) Such a great time hanging out with you at First Fridays:)
