I told you all over on Facebook that I felt a little off my game this week. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the extra day tacked onto my weekend and would gladly settle into a four day routine if I had my way, but this week just felt a little off.
On a better note, one of my favorite days ever was May 30th, 1989, when my very best friend in the entire world was born. You know what that means? My sister is joining the quarter century club today! I’m so proud of the amazing young woman that she has become and I can’t wait to see where the coming years take her (or where she takes them). Jordan is genuine, artistic, loving, hilariously sarcastic and I can’t imagine surviving this life with anyone else but her. She’s there when I laugh, she’s there when I cry and she’s there when shit hits the fan. Bottom line? She’s my constant and I’m so thankful for her. Cheers, Jo!
In an attempt to get back on top of my game, below are a few gems that caught my eye this week! I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did.
Elizabeth from The Fashion Column Twins put together a two piece “romper” and it’s by far one of my favorite outfits of theirs to date.
The prints on these candles have me swooning! They would look perfect on the new desk that I ordered this week.
I love how the designer wrapped a simple Ikea stool with rope to create a chic outdoorsy feel over on Refinery 29. It would be a great addition to a patio area! (if only I had one of those….)
Are you constantly dreaming of adding shoes to your collection? I am. And I didn’t hesitate to enter when I found out Alissa and Ashley were hosting a Sole Society giveaway!
Lastly, these prints from the SSU Collection are too legit. “Kate Moss and Some Pizza Slices,” um, yes.
I’ll be celebrating with Jordan this weekend in KC, enjoying lunch with two of my fabulous blogger pals and spending Sunday with the fam in Lawrence. Then there’s that mountain of laundry that has tripled in size since I first neglected it last weekend. What does your weekend look like?
