Pete and I never really do anything too crazy on Valentine’s Day. Last year we went to a local Mexican restaurant in downtown KC where we both rocked sweatpants and he let me double dip in the salsa. It was a great night.

I love the month of February because it means Spring is just around the corner, at least it’s supposed to be. They are calling for 10 inches of snow here today! SNOW DAY. I rounded up a few things that have already made themselves mine and a few that I’m hoping will be mine in the near future.

There are few things I enjoy more than getting snail mail (I really like sending it too). Sometimes you don’t really need to say “thank you” and these heart note cards from Sugar Paper LA would be perfect for when you just wanna say “hi.”

I rarely order things online. Mostly because I like to try things on, hold them and be able to walk around the store for a good 20 minutes until I’m sure that I need whatever it is I’m holding on to. I forgot how exciting it was to order something and forget about it for a few days, only to be surprised again once it shows up in the mail. I had quite a few vault points over at Bauble Bar and I finally picked out this necklace. As you can see, I played it safe with the clear crystals, but it will go with everything. Oh, and…another pair of loafers made their way into my closet. How did that happen?

This Ampersand print would be the perfect addition to any gallery wall, and the gals who created it are Kansas Cititians which makes it that much better. Lastly, NARS blush stick in “Orgasm.” Get in my makeup bag.
