A few of my favorite things.

Wants. Needs. Haves.
1. The myfitnesspal app has been my partner in crime since October 2011. If you haven’t already downloaded the app, I highly suggest it! It allows you to track calories, exercise and water consumption. Three very important factors when it comes to losing/maintaining weight! I’m fairly OCD and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little proud of the fact that I have logged in for the last 120 days in a row now.
2. Essie nail polish in butler please. It’s the perfect shade of blue for your toes and it’s a nice change up from the typical pink hues I’ve grown so accustomed to. I’m going to keep rocking it on my fingers well into the Fall. Buy it here!
3. I need this Coach bag. No, really. My current purse has been carried for the past two years STRAIGHT. That’s right, I haven’t changed my purse since 2011, gross-I know!

4. My sister turned me on to a local jeweler here in the Kansas City area by the name of Sara Cramer. Her bead work is amazing. I’m especially fond of these earrings and wouldn’t mind if someone bought them for me in every color.
5. I’ve mentioned before that my sister works at Skyline salon. This is where I was first introduced to Oribe’s dry texturizing spray. Also known as heaven in a can. Ever since then I have become a self-proclaimed addict.

6. Lastly, I’m obsessed with the song, “Royals” by Lorde. By the time I had Lor typed into the YouTube search bar it had already populated for me. Popular much?

p/s I just went to the bathroom for the first time today at work. To my horror the shirt I’m wearing is somewhat see through and my leopard print bra has been on display for everyone to see. I’ve gotta stop getting dressed in the dark. #HappyMonday!

  1. Just when I think I cannot love reading this anymore than I already do, you write something new that literally has me giggling out loud in the room, causing the dogs to wonder…”what the hell is wrong with her?”! How on earth did I give birth to such a funny, and inspiring daughter?!

I personally love a challenge, so I pretend that’s what it is 🙂 I want to see if I can go a whole year without missing a day. That doesn’t mean I won’t miss a meal here and there, but it has helped me focus on what I’m putting in my body!
